Here's a slideshow of my house remodel. Got before, during and after shots. Took over a year to complete the work. Sure looks a lot better. My dad, mom and I did all the work on this one. Pretty much gutted the whole house. Need to save up some money and landscape the back yard. Maybe next year. Did the exterior. Put on a new roof and AC. Got a really cool patio with slate flooring and a neat brick BBQ.

When we bought this house the landscaping was a mess. Nothing but rocks and palm trees. Here's some before pictures on the left and after pictures on the right.
When we purchsed this house in 2001 the overall condition of the interior was good. Biggest problems were it had popcorn ceilings, carpet was worn out, kitchen was dated, the pantry was useless and everything was painted WHITE! Here's a quick review of the work we did.
Started With The Kitchen: Installed new granite tile countertops & travertine backsplash. Refaced the cabinets, did the interiors, new doors, drawers & hardware. New cast iron sink & all new appliances. Of course, we got rid of the white paint.
Moved On To The Pantry: The pantry/laundry room was a total waste of space. We tore out the existing shelving and vinyl floor. Installed new cabinets, countertops, undermount lighting, sink and ceramic tile floor. Added new front load washer & dryer.
The Rest Of The Rooms: Rest of the rooms were pretty straignt forward. New carpet, paint, wall outlets and switches. Added window treatments, put some stuff on the walls including a new 60" Plasma HD TV with 6.1 Surrond System.
