We've been recieving lots of emails asking 'What happened to your website?'. First of all, I'd like to thank both of you for writing. We're back. Bigger and better than ever. I want to welcome our new visitors and say thanks for coming back to those of you who have been here before.
So Who Are We & What's The Purpose Of This Site?
Believe it or not, there actually was a purpose to our original site. Due to a job transfer from Albuquerque to Phoenix in 1996 we had to move away from our families and friends. We also have extended family members and friends scattered throughout both coasts. Staying in touch by phone was cost prohibitive. Sharing news and events by mail was just to much work. So, I thought, why not create a family website. We could keep all of our friends, and family members, up to date as well as share pictures, videos and more over the internet. Our simple, boring, family website quickly evolved into a satirical tale of all the things going on in our daily lives. Still wasn't very interesting to anyone but us but at least it had a little pop and humor. Time passed and little new was happening in our mundane lives so we pretty much called it quits and took down the site. Well, it's been 10 years and things have changed. We're retired and Charlie's moved into his own home. We've got lots of new stories and pictures to share with everyone. Still pretty boring but it's kind of a self serving satisfaction to share this stuff with other people. Our new site is a look at the past and fills you in on what's happened since then. We'll be updating on a regular basis so check in often. Don't want to miss out on the excitement.
In Memory Of Shadow
On a sad note, Shadow had to be put to rest about 6 years ago. He was our best friend for over 14 years. He was always there for us thru thick and thin. There isn't a day that goes by that Peggie & I don't think of him and all the fun we had. In memory of him we are recreating his original page on this site.
